In todays session we had a relook at how to work a FS5 camera. We had someone from the tech department come and show us how to properly use this camera in order to be able to use it to it’s full potential. We all went into groups and followed what the man was saying. We each had a go of using all of the functions, so that all of us knew each step of what to do when using this camera. I personally wanted to do this camera refresher as I had never previously used this camera on my own, and I wanted to be able to.
Along with learning how to use this FS5 camera, we were also told how to use other equipment professionally and properly, for example the boom pole and tripod.
This session was really helpful, as now it means that I feel slightly more confident when using this equipment, and hopefully it will help when filming our vampire film.
