On Thursday 10th November, our group took a refresher course for the Sony NX5 camera, tripod and a Rode boom pole.
We decided to take this refresher course as we’re thinking about possibly using this camera to shoot our short vampire film, and in order to hire it out we needed to attend this session.
Whilst on this session we worked with other people to set up the tripod, camera and shotgun mic using the boom pole. We refreshed our knowledge on setting up the equipment, white balancing the camera, zooming, focusing, formatting it and adjusting the sound levels. This course really helped us as it refreshed our memory after the summer break and made us more motivated and confident to film our vampire film.
