We decided that in order to spread the word and market our film we would need some social medias. We decided to create a Facebook and an Instagram page for our films as these are the sites that we felt our target audience would use most.
Our Facebook page we called Redemption Film
On this page we decided to post the official posters, trailers and extra content such as Crimewatch videos and Missing People links. We decided to post all the ‘official’ stuff to Facebook as this is where I feel people go to find information about things and watch content.
Our Instagram we called RedemptionFilm2017
On here we posted official posters and trailers but we also posted behind the scenes pictures and videos of the making of Redemption. We felt this would be fun as Instagram is a less serious social media than Facebook and the BTS style pics would make our audience feel more involved and like they’re a part of our film.
We decided that Dan would do the majority of the posting to social media as he was the one who created the pages.
