Muse Recap
I will be creating the functionality side of the website while Harrison will be creating the photoshop template. I have had previous experience using muse but need to refresh my self with some of the functions and buttons especially since Adobe software tends to update and change/add to its software quite frequently.
Buttons
Even though these videos are slightly older the general principles are the same and it has given me a good idea on how to create the button functionality for the missing persons. Resizing the original images and changing the colour of the resized images, will give an animation that seems like the button shrinks whilst the mouse rolls over it and changes colour when the mouse is pressed down.
Linking Webpages and Hyperlinks
This video recaps onto linking pages and hyperlinks. I am pretty familiar with hyperlinks but not with uploading separate files e.g. video and audio. I want to include a news report from youtube on the webpage this will help me understand how to do that.
General Functionality and Muse Inspiration
Watching some of these videos has given me extra confidence in the functionality of muse, I particularly enjoyed the video from Terry White, He was very easy to understand and in debt with his descriptions. These videos demonstrate the basic functions of muse and how to use them effectively plus a few tips and tricks along the way.
